Seiko watches are great candidates for custom mod projects, from the basic SKX models to the SNK (Urchin) and SRP (Turtle) models. For the sake of this modification, our Seiko of choice is the Prospex SRP779 (New Turtle):

Our modifications will consist of:

• Replacing the standard bezel with a polished steel coin edge bezel.
• Replacing the standard elapsed timing aluminum bezel insert with a dual time batman ceramic insert (glossy surface and engraved numerals/markings).
• Replacing the Hardlex Crystal with a Double Dome Blue AR Sapphire Crystal.
